Mitsui Shoji T20 Season-8 has a different tournament format. The tournament comprises of two rounds - League and Super League, and Finals. In both league round, the winning teams gets two points, and loosing team nil. Incase of tie, match shall be decided on a Super Over, and if still not on toss The positioning in the league depends upon the total number of points, and if equal, net run-rate (NRR) shall be considered.
In the League, all the five teams will play against one another once. The top four positioning teams qualify to Super League. These four teams again play once against every opponent. The top two positioned teams in this league qualify for finals.
Total seventeen number of games shall be played along with the finals. The finals is staged on 13th May 2019.
